    MarkMosherMusic.com Makeover Complete

    image

I just finished a makeover of my website www.markmoshermusic.com. New features include:

    • An updated design with cool background gradient, a new color scheme etc...
    • I've reorganized and simplified the navigation to be by music type. For example, all Electronica is under one section, all soundtrack work under another.
    • Media types are now tied to songs. For example, the song "Flight" on the soundtracks page has links for audio, video, DVD/CD on Amazon.com, and a cart button that allows you to download an mp3. In other words, one stop shopping once you find a song you like :^).
    • Want to bookmark my content in your favorite social media site (facebook, MySpace...)?  Use the new social bookmarking link at the top of each page.
    • You can now signup for email notification of blog posts allowing you to stay up to date on my latest news.
    • RSS subscription icon from the menu bar so you can add my feed to your favorite feed reader.

Announcing the Mark Mosher Music Blog

    image

I've created a new blog which will allow me centralize all my news in one location. The blog link is http://newecho.typepad.com/MarkMosherMusic. The "feed" to this blog is the same as the feed to the old news section of my web site so current subscribers don't have to take any action. FYI - I've taken all the past news items from the news section of the website and placed them in the blog and the blog feeds the news section of the site now. One cool thing about moving to a blog for news is that you can now comment on news items.

Ableton Live 7 Releases - Work Resumes on Next Single

    image

Many people on my news distribution list are fellow musicians. Therefore, I wanted pass along a link to an article on my blog Modulate This! about the much anticipated release of Live 7 - http://newecho.typepad.com/blog/2007/11/ableton-live-7.html.

For those of you on my list who are "listeners", Live is my main production tool. It's used by many top artists (see a list here). If you are into American Idol, this is the software used by last seasons runner up Blake Lewis.

I was a beta tester for this release and fell in love with many of the new features. I've delayed releasing my next single because I wanted to use some of these new features. Now that it's released, I'll resume work on the next single which should be out in January.

Meanwhile, my song "Midnight" - after hitting #1 October 20th - remains in the top 40 over at soundclick . Click here to listen to the song on soundclick to help keep the song in the top 40 - http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=5852635&q=h.

Thanks to all for your continued support.

Mark Mosher Music Tracks in the Haunted Mines Attraction in Colorado Springs

    Haunted Mines

The Haunted Mines - Some of my sound design tracks are being used in the Haunted Mines. The Haunted Mines are Colorado Springs' newest and most exciting seasonal haunted attraction. This "haunted house" type of attraction is constructed on the historic, 26 acre, centuries-old grounds of the Mining Museum, a former dairy farm from the 1800's. All proceeds (100%) benefit the not-for-profit (501c3) Western Museum of Mining and Industry, so they can better educate our children and interested adults about mine safety, science and engineering, mining heritage, and the role of Western industry in the development of America.

    Visit HauntedMines.org for more info.
